I met the reception on my way to the office this morning, she just graduated from school, local girl. She's very excited for the forthcoming holiday and told me, "you know what, GZ will become an unalloyed city during the 3 golden weeks (Labor Holiday, National Holiday & Spring Festival)," looking at my interrogative face, she continued, "because most of the extraneous people will be out of town, you'll find the whole city will become quiet and peace, no traffic jam, no crowded people around, can you imagine that?"

Well, I don't think I need to imagine it, I'll be here tomorrow to witness my first National Holiday in GZ, hm... will it be a special National Holiday to me?>>

GZ usually changes to a serene city during the three Golden Weeks (Labour Holiday, National Holiday & Spring Festival).” Seeing the puzzled expression on my face, she continued, “because most of the people will be out of town, you will find that the whole city will become quiet and peaceful – no traffic jam, no crowds…can you imagine that?”

Well, I don’t think I need to imagine it. I’ll be there tomorrow to spend my first National Holiday in GZ. Hm…will it be a special National Holiday for me?
