I unerstand that interest is the most important thing to make a hobby lifelong, but in my opinion, it is not just a kind of hobby to learn a foreign language.
I will consider career future in deciding learning which kind of foreign language, and nowadays, most companies request their staff to master or know at least two foreign languages, which is one of the requirements he/she is given a job/position.
Moreover, your language ability would be better if you could use the language every day,on the contrary, it would be worse and worse if use less, like the conditions I am facing !
In a word, in deciding learning a foreign language, the most important thing I will consider is how much I could use this language in my job. I have to face the reality.
