Nothing is perfect in the world,neither was last Friday`s
English Salon,though it had been deliberated prepared.But
several foreign-background friends` attending really added a little global sense to it.those guys from HK,Canada and Taiwan brought some fresh ideas and much laughter for us.
i.e. the talkative Hongkongness Mr. Martin AROUSED people`s desire to speak out.our ladies expressed profuse admiration to their witty and humorous speech.
We were glad to see those old pals and some fresh faces,yet it remained a slight pity that no vigorous teen-agers taking part in.this Salon puts no restrictions on age for attending.those who willing to talk in English are always welcomed.
Just like the name of the coffee house,the atmosphere was bright and cheerful,freely,leisurely,people talked and drank to their hearts` content,we even laughed in English!
We welcome native English speakers` participation.we hope to make it better and bring some joy and surprise to the attendance next time.
